This Program has been approved for Recertification Hours toward aPHRi, PHRi, SPHRi, and GPHR Recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as for Professional Development Credits (PDCs) toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP Recertification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which is required every three years to maintain the Certification Status.

Course Description

This course is especially designed to equip attendees with the required skills to develop training content, materials, and activities, lead training sessions confidently, and to better relate to their audience. This interactive course is your starting point to becoming a professional trainer irrelevant of which area of expertise you are coming from.

Course Objective

  • Strengthening the attendees’ communication skills with special emphasis on body language interpretation.
  • Equipping participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for a successful trainer.
  • Delivering proven facilitative skills that promote leaners’ engagement, critical thinking, and knowledge acquisition and retention.
  • Mastering In-Class Time Management techniques.
  • Dressing to impress the audience and gaining their trust.
  • Distinguishing between different learning styles of audience and how to be able to tailor the delivery accordingly.
  • Gaining self-confidence to face audiences with different personalities and various backgrounds.
  • Understanding the main Training and Development concepts, theories, and techniques.
  • Utilizing various training methods and activities, including but not limited to simulations, role-playing, business games, behavioral modeling… etc.
  • Assessing training needs of different audiences in order to design effective training plans, content, and activities.
  • Designing in-class activities based on required deliverables and expected outcomes.

Teaching Philosophy

The teaching philosophy is based on Lectures designed for Certified Trainer Course, with extensive practical applications, team-based activities. Role plays and individual & team exercises are also incorporated extensively in the program.

North Star Management Consultancy delivers the Certified Trainer Course over 3 sessions of 8 hours each (A total of 24 Hours).
